Repairs with UltraProg
Decade of Development
Development for UltraProg commenced in 2009, driven by the ambitious goal of creating an all-encompassing tool to streamline diverse electronic projects. The primary objective swiftly shifted towards Airbag SRS ECU repairs, crash data retrieval, and the clearing of Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) embedded in the memory of ECUs.
Beyond Diagnosis
Not a Diagnostic Tool
It is imperative to understand that UltraProg is not a diagnostic tool and lacks the capability to directly connect to vehicles. Devoid of support for CAN bus or any other wired automotive protocols, its primary function lies in reading and modifying the memory content of various EEPROM or microcontroller devices, requiring the removal of the ECU circuit for bench operation.
Complete Solutions
UltraProg’s software is accessible in six languages, with provisions for additional languages. The comprehensive kit includes the USB interface, cables, power supply, and a year of support and updates. Adapters like DIL EEPROM, SO8 EEPROM, and others ensure users have the necessary tools for a broad spectrum of applications, facilitating successful ECU repairs and memory programming.
Powering Performance
UltraProg distinguishes itself as a versatile device programmer, supporting various protocols such as JTAG, I2C, Microwire, SPI, BDM, BKGD. It caters to prominent manufacturers, including Motorola, Freescale, ST micro, Infineon, Renesas, and National, while enabling the clearing of crash data for approximately 2800 different ECU devices.
